Overview
This re-development at Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre included four existing accommodation blocks. The project focused on harm minimisation of cells, with the inclusion of deluge and smoke management systems.
An external facilities building was constructed, and chilled water reticulated to each of the accommodation buildings being refurbished. The existing main switch board was expanded to meet the increased power load.

BSCA provided Services Management throughout all stages of the project. The team’s scope included, tender review, design review, design coordination, programme advice, management during construction and commissioning management.
